Shoppes of Apple Greene

  In late September community members from Apple Greene met with Rick Bailey from Marrick Properties to learn more about the updates to the Shoppes.  The community members were told that the anchor store has been set to be a Harris Teeter.  The surrounding 20, or so, stores are still unannounced.  The community expressed continued concern about how the development will impact traffic, noise, and visibility from homes.   Currently, the community will not be connected to the shops by a roadway, but that decision is not in the hands of the developer since the property that would be used as a connector road is not part of the development.  Construction is set to begin spring of 2017.  What are your thoughts on the Shoppes?
